About

portraitBorn to organize! At least that’s how I feel sometimes. I was born and raised in Colorado where I met my wonderful husband. I went to college in South Carolina where I studied accounting and business, then married the love of my life and moved to Florida. Since my husband was in the military, we moved about every four years. Because of this, I got in the habit of re-evaluating our needs as well as our household items often. Little did I know the value of such a habit until our military days were over.

Though I’ve worked in various occupations over the years, organizing has always been my passion. As crazy as it sounds, it is what brings me the greatest pleasure and joy outside of personal relationships.

It wasn’t until 2011 that I learned the “weight” some items can bring to a person and how necessary it is to get help dealing with them. That was the year we lost our two teenage sons in an auto accident and I HAD TO depend on others to help me. I found that I barely had the strength to even touch my sons’ belongings much less take care of daily tasks. I thank God for my friends who came along beside me and did the things that I could not do for myself. Humans suffer loss in a variety of ways: death, end of relationships, loss of business or job, etc. In my experience, these losses take a lot of strength from us. I found that it’s o.k., and even beneficial, to get help.

I started FRESH START CONWAY because I want more than anything to help everyone I can have a fresh start. Everyone is in a different place in life and may or may not be able to handle seemingly simple tasks. For this reason, I never criticize clients for the state their home or office is in. We’ll just put our heads down and do what’s necessary to make your space work, no need for explanations or apologies. Confidentiality is one of my key values.

I don’t know where you are in life (too tired, too stressed, too busy, etc.), but I do know that if you’re still breathing in and out, you have a future. You may not be able to see it, but you do. You should be proud of yourself for taking steps to go forward. I would love the opportunity to help you in your efforts to start fresh!
